Paper Animation (Easy)
Paper animation is one of the oldest types of filmmaking used today. It consists of adding or removing something from a drawing, taking a picture, and moving it again. Easy and simple as pie.
Here are some intructions on how to make a simple paper animation.

Story-style
Message(s)/Quote
Step 1:Brainstorm
Think of a short, but funny or interesting plot OR a quote/message(s). If it is a story, then it should have little to none words, as it will either be silent with a soundtrack or have speech bubbles. Too many speech bubbles make a mess. Draw sketches of characters and scenery. If it is a quote or message, think of how you are going to display your quote/message(s). Sketch fun and interesting fonts for your words to add expression to the paper and make it pop.
Step 2a-Draw a Backdrop

Step 2b-Choose Style (Quote/Message(s) only) Decide on how each sentence/phrase/word will look compared to the rest of them. You should use different colors, fonts, shadows, and patterns. Also, you should decide on a background for your things. Make it simple, or else it will distract from the words. Some nice backgrounds would be small polka dots or lightly colored stripes. Don't start drawing yet.

Step 3-Draw, Snap, Repeat!
If you are making a story, then draw your backdrop and character. They should be done by the time we take the first picture. For a quote/message, draw your background style. Do not write yet.
DRAW: For a quote or message, write half of a letter. FIRST TIME ONLY:If you are drawing a story, do nothing. ALL OTHER TIMES: Erase a leg and move it. Move the entire body about 1/4 of a inch or more if running. Make all actions.
SNAP: Take a picture of wht you wrote using your digital camera or webcam. Make sure it isn't blurry. It will help if you use a tripod and have good lighting,. As long as you use an SD card or flash storage, you do not have to be near your computer to take the pictures.
REPEAT! (until you are done) ⬆

Step 4- Presto, MOVIE MAGIC!
Using whatever editing software you have (iMovie, Windows Movie Maker, Adobe Premiere Elements), import all your pictures. Find where the fps(Frames Per Second) setting is and change it to 10.0. Finally, add your music if you have it and export your movie as an MP4. Watch the magic!
